Sin­ce 2008, ICH­THYS Foun­da­tion has been enga­ged in the pro­ject imple­men­ta­tion in Mol-dova. This small coun­try, who­se popu­la­tion is less than 4 mil­lion, is the poorest coun­try in Euro­pe. Acti­vi­ties per­for­med by the Foun­da­tion in Mol­do­va inc­lu­de the sup­port and orga­ni­za­tion of acti­vi­ties for chil­dren and youth, inc­lu­ding sum­mer and win­ter holi­days, Children’s Day, festi­vals, and edu­ca­tio­nal pro­grams. The­se pro­jects con­sti­tu­te the sour­ce of know­led­ge and inspi­ra­tion for chil­dren and youth, but pri­ma­ri­ly, they pro­vi­de the oppor­tu­ni­ty to deve­lop a rela­tion­ship with God and other people. Sin­ce the very begin­ning, the Foun­da­tion has been invo­lved in huma­ni­ta­rian aid, among other things in pre­pa­ra­tion and distri­bu­tion of Chri­st­mas gifts to chil­dren, and in finan­cial sup­port for scho­ol cafe­te­rias for chil­dren. The main goal of our acti­vi­ties in Mol­do­va is to bring spi­ri­tu­al and finan­cial help, demon­stra­ting God’s love that brings hope.
